France flip-flops over Saudi air tanker deal
French officials retracted a statement that Saudi Arabia had procured Airbus A330 MRTT tankers two hours after releasing it.
Defence industry officials said the statement was retracted over Saudi sensitivities over the timing of an announcement but the deal is confirmed.
