Pentagon identifies 8 killed in helo crash
The Chinook that crashed in Afghanistan on Sunday was a MH-47E operated by
the Night Stalkers
.
The MH-47E was flying at about 300 feet when it experienced a sudden loss of power and icing on the engine is suspected.
