U.S. Air Force flies into the war on terror in aging airplanes
800 aircraft or 14 percent of the U.S. Air Force's fleet are grounded or operating under restricted flying conditions due to age.
F-15 pilots are now ordered not to exceed Mach 1.5 on training missions to avoid overtaxing the aircraft.
