BAE in battle for $15bn fighter orders from India and Japan
BAE Systems has step up efforts to sell the Eurofighter to India and Japan. Japanese officials recently visited BAE's factory at Warton, Lancashire to see a Typhoon demonstration.
The Japanese have traditionally bought U.S. military hardware but the ban by the U.S. Congress from buying the F-22 have forced them to look elsewhere for fighters.
