Exclusive: IAF to ask US for world's most advanced jets
The Israeli Air Force has approached the Defense Ministry to ask the Pentagon for export of the F-22.
The sale or transfer of F-22s to Israel did not come up in talks Wednesday between Defense Minister Amir Peretz and US Defense Secretary Robert Gates, but sources say Israel would ask to buy the aircraft.
