German Tornados arrive for Afghan reconnaissance mission
The six Luftwaffe Tornado ECRs have arrived in Afghanistan Thursday at their base in Camp Marmal on the outskirts of the northern city of Mazar-e Sharif.
They will come under the command of NATO next Monday and beginning their surveillance missions over southern Afghanistan on Apr. 15.
