Italy To Send Copters, Armor to Afghanistan
Italy is to send five A-129 Mangusta attack helicopters to Afghanistan to better protect the roughly 1,900 Italian troops there.
AgustaWestland-built Mangusta helicopters had been deployed in Somalia in 1993 and were sent to Iraq also.
