Northrop Grumman, Israeli Aerospace Industries to Offer Rapid Response, Operational Surveillance Satellites
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) and Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) have proposed to build and launch operational surveillance satellites for the U.S. military.
The team plans to modify IAI's TECSAR high-resolution, synthetic aperture radar imaging satellite with specialized payload for all-weather, day/night imaging capabilities.
The satellite will be available 28 months after the contract is signed.
