US offers incentives on missiles
The Bush administration has offered to some U.S. and Russian anti-missile systems as an incentive to Russia to drop its strong opposition to U.S. missile defense sites in Poland and the Czech Republic.
The package includes U.S. offers to cooperate on developing defense technology and to share intelligence about common threats, as well as to permit Russian officials to inspect the future missile bases.
