USAF Chief Asks Deputies To Assess Transport, Personnel Needs
The USAF chief of staff has asked his senior officers to check if the service needs more cargo planes and personnel if the Army and Marine Corps grow by about 92,000 people.
The Pentagon had capped the number of strategic airlifters at 300 before the troop surge.
