USAF to Issue Tender for GPS Block III on April 19
The U.S. Air Force will issue the formal RFPs for the GPS Block III, on Apr. 19. Lockheed Martin and Boeing are the competitors for the contract.
Lockheed Martin announced Apr. 5 that its design for the satellite system had completed a USAF review. Boeing's design is expected to undergo a similar review from Apr. 17-19.
