Airmen put C-130 back in the fight
Maintenance repair teams from Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing from Southwest Asia change the engine of a C-130 Hercules under harsh conditions May 25 at an abandoned air strip just outside of Shindand, Afghanistan. Security forces Airmen stood watch for about 50 hours to ensure the aircraft and crew were safe from harm while on the ground.
