Farewell flight
The 27th Fighter Wing's 523rd Fighter Squadron made its final flight on Thursday afternoon at Cannon Air Force Base as its disestablished as the base prepares for the Air Force Special Operations Command to assume command in October.
Lt. Col. Brad Kearney, 523rd Operations Commander, flew the final flight.
