First Eurocopter EC635 for Swiss Air Force takes to the Air
The first EC635 helicopter destined for the Swiss Air Force successfully performed its maiden flight at Eurocopter's Donauwörth facility on May 23.
The maiden flight was under the command of Eurocopter test pilot René Nater and lasted 35 minutes.
This is the first of 18 EC635 helicopters that will replace the Swiss Air Force’s Alouette III helicopters.
