First salute for a Laughlin AFB-bound pilot trainee ... from across the world in Iraq
2nd Lt. John Cuellar got his first salute from his father Master Sgt. Guadalupe Cuellar, Jr. 7,000 miles away.
John was recently commissioned as an officer after graduating from University of Texas and his father is currently serving a combat deployment with the 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Balad's 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing.
