NZ Skyhawk sale stalled by 'internal difficulties' in United States
U.S. officials told New Zealand Defence Minister Phil Goff that "internal difficulties" is stalling the sale of 17 Skyhawks and 17 Aermacchi jets to an American company.
Mr Goff met US Defence Secretary Robert Gates and Under-Secretary of Defence Eric Edelman at the Pentagon as well as Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill.
