Plane carrying foreign peacekeepers crashes in Egypt's Sinai desert
A French DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter crashed on Sunday while trying to make an emergency landing on a stretch of highway in the Sinai desert.
Eight French soldiers and a Canadian were killed. They were members of the Multinational Force and Observers monitoring the Egyptian and Israeli border.
