RMAF to train 72 officers to handle Sukhoi SU-30MKM fighter jets
The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) will train 72 of its officers as pilots and weapons system officers (WSO) for the Su-30MKM fighter jets.
Four pilots and two WSOs will be trained as instructors when the jets arrived in Malaysia next month.
Col. Syed Salim Syed Abu Bakar, team leader of the RMAF Sukhoi SU-30MKM project, added that some of the officers could be sent to India for training.
