Russia to Build New Aircraft Carrier At a recent meeting of high-ranked officers of Russia's Navy and shipbuilding leaders, a decision was made to purse the construction of an aircraft carrier.

The meeting was chaired by Navy Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Masorin.
