US fears over China long-range missiles
The 2007 Pentagon China military power report said the Chinese navy is developing a fleet of five nuclear ballistic missile submarines.
The pace which they were developed has surprised the Pentagon and shows China's determination.
Washington is also concerned about China's deploy of a new mobile, land-based DF-31A ballistic missile that can target the entire U.S. continent.
