Lockheed gets F-35 contract for LRIP II
As usual I can't find the press release from Lockheed Martin so here is the Pentagon release. Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $2.4 billion advance acquisition contract for long lead components, parts, and materials associated with the Lot 2 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP II) of six F-35 Conventional Take-Off and Landing (CTOL) for the U.S. Air Force and six Short Take-off and Vertical Landing Air Systems for the U.S. Marine Corp.
