Abkhazia confirms Georgian report of crashed plane
Georgia's separatist region, Abkhazia, Friday confirmed that a plane of uncertain origin went down over Abkhazia.
The news came after Georgia said it fired at a plane believed to be Russian that had violated the country's airspace on Wednesday.
Russia denied that it was its aircraft that was shot down.
