Iran upgrading its U.S. F-14s, testing GPS-guided smart bombs
Iran's state-owned Iranian Aircraft Industries Complex has succeeded in restoring its F-14 Tomcat fleet.
Three F-14s have been restored and upgraded so far and the company was expected to overhaul and upgrade additional F-14s in 2007 and 2008.
The upgraded Tomcat will be able to carry Iran's new 2,000lb guided bomb.
