Lockheed Martin wants to alter JSF testing to save money
Lockheed Martin has approached the Pentagon on cutting back tests for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter as the first phase of the program is running over budget.

A reserve fund used to fix problems typically exposed in this part of an aircraft's development has dwindled to $392 million from about $2 billion.
