Navy Strike Drone Will Demo Shipboard Ops Only Rear Adm. Timothy Heely, the U.S. Navy official overseeing the UCAS-D program, says the X-47B will only be a "proof-of-concept" vehicle.

Weapons and tactics development are not included in the demonstration program.
