New A109E helicopters gives young aircrew more chances to get airborne
The Royal Australian Navy has accepted three A109E helicopters that are leased from Raytheon Australia for four years.
They will be used by junior flight crew while they wait to transition to larger Seahawk, Sea King, Seasprite and the yet to be delivered NH-90 helicopters.
