USAF Sees Limits To Use of Small Sats
The U.S. Air Force sees limited uses for small satellites as they offer less returns on investment than UAVs and high-altitude balloons.
However they are useful to fill in some of the gaps of existing constellations, or help to reconstitute capabilities that may have been disrupted by natural causes or intentional attacks.
