F-15 upgrades face ministry bargain hunt
Japan has given up hopes of early access to the F-22 stealth fighter for its planned F-X fighter program.
Instead it will choose to upgrade its F-15 fighters. However, recent military procurement scandals in the Defense Ministry could make it difficult for the ministry to obtain funds.
