Aurora's Odysseus concept for DARPA's Vulture Perhaps Aurora Flight Sciences' engineers were die-hard Star Wars fans or they have been watching too much Transformers. Cos their solar-powered Odysseus UAV for Darpa's Vulture program could transform into a Z-wing aircraft.



The three pieces of wings will fold into a Z-shape during the day to to collect more solar energy. It flattens out at night to reduce drag.
