Global aviation giants race to meet Indian fighter deadline
Fighter shops are expected to submit their bids for India's medium range multi-role combat aircraft (MMRCA) competition by Monday.
So far only Boeing has submitted its bid on Thursday offering the Super Hornet.
The Eurofighter Consortium has invited India to join the group if they will the tender to build 126 jets for the Indian Air Force.
“We are inviting India to become a partner for the further development of the Typhoon. Exports to third countries from India would be the logical outcome of this partnership,” Eurofighter campaign director Matthias Schmidlin said.
