IAF has eye on combo plane & chopper
Israel's military attaché to Washington, Maj. Gen. Benny Gantz, went to the V-22 factory a few weeks ago as Israel continues to show interest in the aircraft.
Israel is keen to replace its CH-53 transport helicopters with the V-22 as the latter is ideal for inserting and extracting special forces behind enemy lines.
