Britain to continue research on rolling vertical landing for F-35
Britain wants to do more research on the shipboard rolling vertical landing (SRVL) technique for the F-35B.
This method of landing is preferred as it allows the F-35 to recover with 2,000lb of weapons and fuel, or reduce propulsion system stress and increase engine life.
