Secret sale of S-300 to Iran put on hold
A secret deal between Russia and Iran on the sale of S-300 missile system to Tehran in 2005 has been freeze until the Russian and American presidents meet in April.
Moscow will want to assess the possibility of mending ties with United States before deciding on the deal.
The reports came amid a visit to Moscow by Iranian Defense Minister Mostafa Muhammad Najjar who is said to be pushing for Russia to conclude the deal.
