Breaking news: NORAD scrambles F-16s to track stolen C172
F-16s have been scrambled to track a stolen Cessna 172 single-prop aircraft flying over Illinois.
The plane is believed to be stolen from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and the pilot is a student.
The pilot had acknowledged seeing the F-16s but is refusing nonverbal commands to follow them.
The Cessna is now north of St. Louis.
