Rafale back in Indian competition
India's Defense Procurement Board on Monday decided not to kick Dassault's Rafale fighter out of the IAF's multi-role combat aircraft competition.
A Technical Evaluation Committee had booted Rafale out of the competition after the French failed to provide the Indians with information on some equipment and add-ons that the IAF wanted to be in the aircraft.
But the Defense Procurement Board overruled the decision as Dassault had addressed those deficiencies.
