India sends mixed signals on multi-role medium fighter contest
The Indian government gave two conflicting messages this week on how the winner of its multi-role medium fighter contest will be selected.
Officials from the Ministry of Defense had told a EADS executive that the Eurofighter will be given extra credits for its extra performance.
But when questioned by the Business Standard, IAF officials said no extra credits will be given if any aircraft under evaluation exceeds the laid down requirements.
