USAF to tweak non-aviator UAV program, students to reach PPL proficiency
The USAF found out the hard way that teaching non-aviators to fly UAVs requires more hours spent on flying in traditional aircraft.

Future students will be required to do 35 hours and reach the equivalent training level of a private pilot.
