Yuri Gagarin's death linked to faulty air vent in MiG-15
A retired Soviet air force colonel says he has conclusive evidence that Yuri Gagarin died in his MiG-15 after sending it into a dive due to a faulty air vent.
Igor Kuznetsov said when Gagarin found that his aircraft was not hermetically sealed as he and his trainer were approaching 10,000ft, he pushed the aircraft into a dive that resulted in both of them blacking out.
