Malaysia to keep 10 MiG-29s flying for another 5 years
Malaysia has decided not to retire its MiG-29 this year as it is not able to purchase new fighters to replace them.
"We have decided to continue using 10 of the 16 MiG-29N jet fighters after sending them for repairs and upgrading," Defense Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.
