Taiwan still wants F-16s and submarines
Taiwan has refuted a report saying that the island will not seek to buy submarines from the United States.
Taiwan's defence ministry spokesman Yu Sy-tue told AFP that the country is seeking both submarines and F-16s.
Reuters had reported earlier that the island had dropped its demands for submarines but will seek to buy F-16C/Ds.
