16 percent of America's classic Hornets grounded
The U.S. Navy grounded 104 Navy and Marine F/A-18 Hornet jets after tests had revealed cracks are appearing earlier than expected.
The grounding does not apply to aircraft now flying combat missions over Iraq or Afghanistan.
