Boeing proposes hypersonic missile for global strike
Boeing is dusting off an idea from the 1980s to give the Pentagon a conventional missile that could strike anywhere in the world in less than an hour.
Margaret Morse, Boeing's director for strategic missile systems, told reporters at a press briefing that the hypersonic missile could be ready for fielding within 30 months.
