RAF Chinook pilot keeps flying despite being shot between the eyes
A RAF Chinook helicopter pilot continued flying for eight minutes despite being shot between the eyes by a Taliban round.

Flight Lieutenant Ian Fortune had flown into the hot zone to pick up casualties in the Helmand Province, Afghanistan when the incident happened.

Despite his injuries, he flew for eight minutes before landing at Camp Bastion.
