Israeli Air Force modifies fighter pilot training after fatal crash

Future Israeli fighter pilots will have to undergo centrifuge flight simulator practices early in their training.

This change was the result of the IAF’s investigation into the death of Captain Asaf Ramon during a dogfight exercise.

Asaf is the son of Israel’s first astronaut and former fighter pilot Ilan Ramon.
