The joint exercise between Greek and Israeli air force was called off prematurely after Israeli commandos stormed a flotilla heading for the Gaza Strip.

It should be noted that the planes took off at noon yesterday, but the most part of the excercise’s program was already completed. The IAF/DF chief was scheduled to visit Greece for the conclusion of Minoas, but that visit was cancelled.
Also, Minoas 2010 is devided in two phases, the second one a CSAR excercise in late June. Their is no word about cancelation of the second phase.
