A Israeli Air Force student pilot ejected from her T-6 Texan II trainer yesterday morning at Hatzerim air force base.
The aircraft was on its landing roll when it started to swerve off the runway. The student followed emergency procedures and ejected.
This is the first accident involving the Efroni, the name of the T-6 Texan II in Israel.
