Lt. Gen. George Trautman, deputy commandant of the USMC for aviation, told DoD Buzz that the nozzle of the F-35B will be reshaped to prevent overheating flight decks.
The thrust will be shaped into an oval shape instead of the more highly focused circle by the modified nozzle.
