USAF announced F-22 consolidation plan
Holloman Air Force Base will lose both its F-22 squadrons under a new consolidation plan by the USAF.
One squadron will be relocated while the other, which is at half strength, will be deactivated and its aircraft redistributed.
Six planes from the deactivated squadron will go to Langley Air Force Base, Elmendorf Air Force Base will receive another six and Nellis Air Force Base will receive two.
The other squadron will relocate to Tyndall Air Force Base.
