Indian airline complains KC-X delaying A330 deliveries

A cargo airline from India has complained that the KC-X program has lead to delays by EADS in delivering A330 freighters to the company.

A senior executive with the airline told Defense News that EADS was using the deal with his company to demonstrate the viability of its proposed assembly plant in Alabama.

But an industry source said both parties agreed to postpone delivery as the airline was unable to find sufficient work for its used aircraft.
