Raytheon could make changes to the SDB-53/B development program to accommodate the F-35 testing schedule.
The weapon was supposed to be fielded on Navy and Marines F-35 in 2018. However, the stealth fighter program was revamped and IOC of the F-35C has been pushed back.
The F-15E Strike Eagle is expected to receive the weapon by 2017.
